Every day teachers inspire pupils to learn, help them reach their potential and prepare them for adulthood. It’s one of the most important jobs in society today.

However, fewer people are choosing to become teachers and by 2030 it’s predicted that there will be a global shortfall of 69 million teachers. We don’t have enough time to train all the teachers we need, leaving classrooms filled with pupils but empty of teachers. We need a new approach.

Humly want to be a positive force in society by working with schools and helping their pupils reach their full potential, even when their regular teacher is unavailable. To achieve this, we have developed a digital marketplace that matches supply teachers with jobs in schools. To date, Humly’s teachers have covered over a hundred thousand teaching days.

We are now looking for a English-speaking Operation Manager for the imminent launch of our service in the UK market. Read more about it on www.humly.co.uk

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop pipeline of eligible customers and candidates on the UK market
  • Conduct interviews and customer meetings via video
  • Qualify or reject candidates based on interview feedback and resume reviews
  • Phone and email support to customers and supply teachers during office hours
  • Establish and grow Humly's market share in the UK 


You will become responsible for operations within the UK market. By inspiring, challenging, educating and coaching both new and existing schools, you build long-term relationships. Customers must receive maximum value from our platform and our supply teachers. We are data-driven and measure continuous use, commitment and customer satisfaction (NPS). At Humly, you will work in projects with founders, product managers, marketing managers, recruitment managers, support and others to make us even better with the help of smart technology. We want to strengthen the team in Gothenburg.

Qualifications
We would be delighted if you were born and raised in England or have experience of the British school system. You should have a few years experience of customer service, sales or operation management. You are comfortable and driven to combine your previous experiences with lots of creativity and problem solving to develop and refine structures, routines, relations and other setups to get the business going. You have the ability to challenge and improve processes, both internally and externally with customers, employees and suppliers. You have a curiosity for learning new things and. You will either be a native English speaker or must have fluent spoken and written English.
